2026/2027 Admission Exercise

Dear Prospective Student

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into 100 Level, 200 Level, and 300 Level degree programmes at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) and its affiliated institutions for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Candidates who selected FUNAAB or any of the following Affiliated Institutions as their first-choice degree-awarding institution with JAMB in the 2026 UTME/Direct Entry registration are eligible to apply:

• FUNAAB – FCAIB: Federal College of Agriculture, Ibadan.
• FUNAAB – OYSCATECH: Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igbo-Ora

Admission Criteria

Admission will be offered strictly through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) based on:

1. Carrying capacity of the course
2. Mimimum UTME score for the course.
3. O'Level / UTME / DE subjects requirements for the course.

Application Procedure

Guidelines for Online Application

1. Click on Login, enter your JAMB UTME or DE Registration Numbers
2. Input your contact information (phone number and email) and click Generate Invoice: Screening Fee of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) and Portal Access Fee of One Thousand Naira (₦1,000), excluding Processing fees is generated.
3. Make payment of the prescribed fee using the generated REMITA Reference Number (non-refundable).
4. Return to the University's Admission Portal to log in.
5. Carefully fill and review your application. Confirm the entries before clicking on the Submit button
6. After completing and confirming entries, click Submit and print out your registration form.
7. Application opens on Tueday, 2nd June, 2026 and closes on Friday, 24th July, 2026..

Correction of Errors

• Correction of wrongly entered data attracts a fee of One Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (₦1,500) only as penalty and can be effected online not later than the closing date of the application. Click here for details.
• No complaint of wrong contact details, O’Level results, OND/HND/NCE/A-Level/IJMB/JUPEB results shall be entertained after the closing date.

Important Note:

• Part-Time Option: Candidates also have the opportunity to express interest in the Part-time (weekday/ evenings) option of their preferred course if available. Further details on the Part-time programmes are available at the FUNAAB Part-Time Portal
• DE Transcript Requirement: DE candidates are further required to have submitted their transcript (OND/HND/NCE candidates) or Statement of Results duly stamped by Director/HOD of the institution you graduated from (A'level candidates) to the Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, not later than Friday, 31st July, 2026.
• Completed Application: Only candidates with a completed application before the stipulated deadline will be considered.
• Sole Responsibility Warning: You have the sole responsibility of ensuring that you meet the minimum admission requirements before making payment. If at any point it is discovered that you do NOT meet the minimum admission requirements, such offer of admission shall be withdrawn and payment made is NON-REFUNDABLE.
