Eligibility for Consideration

2026/2027 Admission Exercise

General O'Level Requirement

Applicants must possess the minimum entry requirement of five (5) O'Level Credits in stipulated subjects at one or two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.

Applicants are advised to check Check FUNAAB's Brochure and confirm the admission requirements for their respective degree programmes before logging in to fill the e-application form.

Note

Applications for refund on losing admission offer will not be entertained. It is the responsibility of candidates to ensure they meet the minimum admission requirements before making payment for admission application.

UTME Candidates

Agriculture, Engineering, Biosciences, Physical Sciences, Computing Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Programmes

Minimum of five (5) O’level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology at not more than two (2) sittings.

A Pass in Biology with Credit in Agricultural Science is acceptable ONLY for courses in Agricultural Programmes. The University does not accept Agricultural Science in lieu of Biology.

Management Sciences

Minimum of five (5) O’level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) social science or science subjects.

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

Agriculture, Engineering, Biosciences, Computing, Food Sciences, Physical Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Courses

In addition to the minimum UTME requirement, candidates seeking admission by Direct Entry are expected to possess any of the following:

• A minimum of UPPER CREDIT at ND or HND, or CREDIT at NCE for admission into related areas from a recognized institution.
• At least two (2) A-Level/IJMB/JUPEB passes in stipulated subjects.

FUNAAB DOES NOT ACCEPT LOWER CREDIT FOR DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION.

Management Sciences

In addition to the minimum UTME requirement, candidates seeking admission by Direct Entry are expected to possess any of the following:

• A minimum of UPPER CREDIT at OND/HND, or CREDIT at NCE in a relevant discipline, or
• Two (2) A'Level passes or equivalent in Mathematics, Economics, and other Social Science subjects

Deadline for Submission of Transcript/Statement of Result

DE candidates are further required to have submitted their transcript (OND/HND/NCE candidates) or Statement of Results duly stamped by the Director/HOD of the institution you graduated from (A'Level candidates) to:
